"For centuries, man had thought the moon was made of cheese. Man lands on the moon to discover it was made of rock....We haven't been back since."

my first novel in… half a year?

I’ve just spent half the weekend obsessing over the pact ( that jodi picoult book), and i’m finally done with it. my mind is currently like “#$%^”. okay la, it’s feels kinda like an M18 book, with all the sex scenes, swear words, deaths/suicides, and mind blowing plot. truthfully, i feel kinda spooked now.

it felt good to escape into another world over the weekend though. the world of 1997, when they did cute stuff like use morse code to communicate, hah!

things that i can’t get out of my head even after finishing the book:

1) that feeling i got when chris realised emily doesn’t want him to know everything about her. when he was willing to let emily know everything about him.

2) the entire concept of ‘fusion’ - you fall, and i feel the pain as well

3) the after. like treating death as the endpoint, and not thinking about what’s gonna happen after.

4) ‘incest’

5) the truth. or rather, the absence of it. no such thing as the truth, but only perspectives.

:/ still feeling spooked.
