Oh, what are we doing? We are turning into dust...
“Life is a disease we all die from”.  But that does not make this journey any less beautiful, nor any less cherished. be kind, be strong, and above all, never give up. Friend of a decade, I’ll always remember your wit, your smile, and our intertwined childhoods. A better world awaits you, rest in peace.

All the riches in this world can buy me all the alcohol I need to drown my sorrows in.. but it can never remove that sorrow that comes from within. All the money in this world can very likely change our world, but sadly, it cannot change the world in which I was born into.

'Comic Sans Project' Seeks to Save the Web's Most... →
Some fonts get no respect. This is true of Comic Sans, the ’90s-era Microsoft typeface that sought to emulate comic book text and failed miserably, by most accounts. The font’s childish, unsophisticated scrawl and overuse by armchair designers has rendered it taboo in most artistic circles, an…

Leonardo's To-Do List →
“It is useful,” Leonardo wrote, to “constantly observe, note, and consider.” But when you are Leonardo, what sorts of things are buzzing around in your head? Well, Toby Lester describes what is essentially a “To Do” list buried in one of those notebooks, a bunch of things Leonardo planned to do one week, or month, in the early 1490’s.

5 Unexpected Downsides of High Intelligence →
the-absolute-best-posts: 5. You’re Probably a Night Owl (which is bad!) - Recently, scientists discovered a quirky side effect to having a high IQ: You tend to stay up until later hours and get up later in the morning. These sleeping habits mean you’re also three times more likely to suffer the symptoms of depression, as well as being at higher risk for heart disease and suffer more arterial...

my first novel in... half a year?
I’ve just spent half the weekend obsessing over the pact ( that jodi picoult book), and i’m finally done with it. my mind is currently like “#$%^”. okay la, it’s feels kinda like an M18 book, with all the sex scenes, swear words, deaths/suicides, and mind blowing plot. truthfully, i feel kinda spooked now.  it felt good to escape into another world over the weekend...

hit a new low(or high). 5 people spent 9.5 hours doing 10 bio mcq questions - 10.30pm to 7am. half the time spent studying bio, the other half spent analyzing our scores and deducing what we got right/wrong. weirdly enough, that felt like the first time i’m analyzing data, drawing conclusions from it, and implementing my ‘recommendations’ this semester - the very things i...

while looking at the photos on my board
I was watching hua4 pi3 on tv last sunday, and there was there was this really interesting development in the plot. Basically there was this woman who was suspected to be a demon, and nobody believed that she was not, not even her husband. There was only one exception - this guy who was her childhood friend. His reasoning was this, “I knew her since we were kids. If she was a demon, I would...
